Here we go with the harvest of our sweet vespaiola – after 20 day delay with respect to the typical vintage period of this vine variety. We wanted to run the risk and we hanged in one week more to benefit from diurnal temperature variations. Fortunately, our wait has been rewarded. According to our enologist, this year our vespaiola is even more varietal than the one of 2013. It’s an important achievement, considering the unlucky season we had.
